Ronnie Smith

Ronnie “Racer Ronnie” Smith, 76 of Douglasville, passed away early Tuesday morning, February 8, 2022. He is survived by his daughter, Rhonda Hays; son & daughter-in-law, Bubba & Kim Smith; sisters, Linda Johnston, Becky Smith and Vicki Smith; grandchildren, Jennifer & Dakota Burgener, Tyler & Carley Smith, Tiffany & Anthony Rodgers, Blake Smith, Cameron Smith and Dylan Smith and three great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his wife Linda Smith;parents Roland & Mary Nell Smith, brother Danny Smith and sister Brenda Smith. Ronnie was a man’s man, strong and hardworking, a great friend and at times a Hell Raiser. He was a retired electrician who always believed in being early to work. He loved racing and raced at 7 Flags Speedway for many years. He loved his grandchildren. He loved his wife of 52 years and was heartbroken when she passed away last August. The Smith family will receive friends and family from 4 to 8 pm Saturday, February 12, at Roy Davis Funeral Home.
