Nick Strickland

Nicholas “Nick” Strickland passed away Friday, January 6, 2023.

He was born in Austell, Georgia on December 11, 1981. Nick was a volunteer fireman in Newton County and loved driving and visiting almost every state. He also enjoyed working on cars specifically diesel engines. He left us too soon and will be missed beyond measure.

He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years Windy Strickland, his children Haley Suits and Ethan Strickland, a grandchild Kai Suits, his mother Rhonda Perkins, and his siblings; Marie Strickland and Rebecca Perkins, brother-in-law Chris Bodkin and his brother at heart Jeff Brewington. Plus, several more family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father Marion Perkins.
