Lamar Faulkner

Mr. Lewis Lamar Faulkner, age 85, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 25, 2024.

Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at 3:00 PM at the chapel of Roy Davis Funeral Home with Rev. Albert Morris officiating. The family will be receiving friends and family on Sunday, January 28, 2024 from 1PM until the hour of the service at 3PM.

Interment will follow in the Mosley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Lithia Springs, Ga.

Lamar was a faithful and long time member of the First Baptist Church of Austell and enjoyed attending church with his family. He retired from Georgia Power as a graphic designer. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Lamar loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ above all, his second love was his wife of 27 years Mrs. Cheryl Ann Lowe Faulkner. He enjoyed traveling to the mountains and spending time with his grandkids, but his love was  fishing especially going to Steinhatchee, Florida. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting and just being outdoors. Lamar was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew him.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Mr. Leck Faulkner and Mrs. Grace Cato Faulkner.

He is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl Faulkner, children Steven Faulkner and wife Shelli, Michael Faulkner, step children Jennifer Park, and Charles Park and wife Maria, grandchildren Landon Faulkner and wife Nikki, Larson Faulkner, Layne Faulkner, Zoe Marzendorfer and husband Griffin, Madison Kidd, Behr Cooper, Alex Park, great-grandchildren Amelia Faulkner, and Miles and Murphy Marzendorfer. Many other family members and friends also survive.
