Harold Lewis Gentry

Harold Lewis Gentry, Sr., "Buddy" to all who knew him, passed away at his home in Powder Springs on May 14, 2020. He was born in Atlanta on May 8, 1961, the son of Harold and Sarah Gentry. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Brenda Sue Gentry. Other survivors include his children, Harold Lewis Gentry, Jr. & Annie Gentry of Cartersville; Elizabeth Edna Gentry of Powder Springs; Victoria Loraine Goulet & Ryan Goulet of Big Bay, MI, and Benjamin Joseph Gentry of Powder Springs; sisters, Pamela Jean Gentry of Marietta; Barbara Ann White & Chris White of Wedowee, AL, and Vickie Lynn Biester & Richard Biester of Yorkville; grandchildren, Abigail Gentry, Alicia Gentry, McKaden Gentry, Breanna Yelverton, McKayla Gentry, Dominick Goulet and Kameren Gentry. Buddy was a Christian, an ordained minister and a member of The Church in Dallas. He was also an Army Veteran. He loved his wife and family and will be greatly missed by them. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 pm, Saturday, May 16, at the funeral home, with some restrictions in place. A graveside service will be held at 10 am Monday, May 18, at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Waynesville, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, if desired, please make donations to Brenda Gentry.
