Freddie Green
December 23, 1933 – November 15, 2022
Freddie Green, 88 of Mableton passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2022. She is survived by her sons, Perry Green (Patsy) of Douglasville, Rick Green (Kathy) of Carrollton, daughter-in-law, Janet Green of Douglasville, grandchildren, Jennifer, Stephanie, Bryan, Stacy, Lee, Michelle, Krissy and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her oldest son, Tommy Green of Douglasville and husband, J.T. Green of Mableton.
Mrs. Green was a Godly woman. She was a homemaker and the most wonderful mother and grandmother anyone could have. She was selfless and always put others first. She was saved in 1954 and was an active member in her church, Ebenezer Baptist Church. She loved teaching Sunday School and being with her church family. She loved to talk, and no one was ever a stranger!
Freddie will be dearly missed but will never be forgotten. From her beautiful, sweet smile and loving hugs to her “pointer finger” moving as she talked. She was one of a kind!
Now she is at home with her sweet Savior, Jesus, and we will see her again in Heaven!
Funeral services for Freddie Green will be 2pm Friday, November 18th at Roy Davis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Friday from 12pm until service time. Burial will follow at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens.
