Charles Monhollen, Jr.

Charles Monhollen, Jr., age 74, of Douglasville, Ga. went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 27, 2024 in Austell, Ga.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Peaceful Meadows Memorial Park cemetery in Dallas, Ga. with his son Chuck Monhollen giving the eulogy.

Charles was born on December 4, 1949 in Kenvir, Kentucky, to the late Mr. Charles Monhollen, Sr. and Mrs. Ruby Enix Monhollen. Charles was married to the late Brenda Dickey Monhollen, until her passing in August 2023. Charles served in the United States Army and fought in the Vietnam war. He worked for many years as a stone mason and was very talented in that trade. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, shooting, camping and simply being outdoors. Charles was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew him.

In addition to his wife and parents, Charles was preceded in death by his sisters Margaret, Judy and Merline.

He is survived by his son, Mr. Charles W. “Chuck” Monhollen, twin brother, Jack Monhollen of Ky., sister, Zana Cox of Ga. Many nieces, nephews and other family members also survive.
