Willie Lee Ponder

Willie Lee Ponder, 77, of Atlanta, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 9, 2019 following a brief illness in Eastman, Georgia. Mr. Ponder was born August 27, 1941 in McDonough, Georgia, son of the late Osa Mae Ponder. He was a member of Calvary New Life Tabernacle in Atlanta. “Grandpa Willie” always enjoyed traveling, taking the “scenic route”, and visited several states in the country. Another favorite thing to do was getting together with family and sharing a meal. Those left to cherish his memory include his lifelong partner and friend, Elsie Bryant; step-children, Darryl (Twiwanda)Bryant, James (Carolyn) Bryant and Robin Bryant; grandchildren, Jeronta, Donteshia, Laquita, Ariel, Aeoleon, Latoya, Theus, Ivory, Grace, Anissa, Cody, and Sierra; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
