William H. Brock, age 78 of Mableton, died Thursday, August 28, 2014.He is survived by his wife of 50 years the 10th of October, Jacquelyn Elaine Wade Brock; son, Allen Brock of Marietta; daughter, Sarah Herring of Columbus, Ohio; 4 beloved grandchildren, Philip Brock, Alison Brock, James Herring and Will Brock. An Atlanta native, he was born on June 4, 1936 to the late James and Verdene Brock.He was a member of the United States Armed Forces serving in both the GA Air National Guard and US Air Force Reserves.. He retired from Atlanta Gas Light. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, 2:00 pm, Roy Davis Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Garner officiating.The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 5 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home. < center >
