William Paul Bell Jr.age 81 of Lithia Springs, went home to be with his loving Savior and Lord on Friday, August 6, 2010.He is survived by his devoted wife, Betty Jean Kuykendall Bell; sons, Stephen (Jane) Bell of Fort Worth, TX, Jimmy (Renee) Bell of Clarksville, GA,; step-son, Ken Cole of Douglasville; daughters, Stella (Bob) Polk of Rapid City, SD, Vicki (Bill) Wilson of Memphis, TN; sister, Louise Bell (Wade) Houston of Augusta, GA; 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 10, at Lithia Springs First Baptist Church with Dr. Marion Beavers and Dr. Wade Houston officiating; burial at Sunrise Memorial Gardens with Masonic rites.Mr. Bell will lie in state at the church 1 hour prior to the funeral service.Jimmy Bell, Stephen Bell, Ken Cole, Bill Wilson, Chris Wilson, Josh Wilson, Kevin Cole will serve as pallbearers.Honorary pallbearers will be his Sunday school class. Mr. Bell was a member of Lithia Springs First Baptist Church for 40 years where he served as deacon and Sunday school teacher.He was a Gideon and member of Lithia Springs Masonic Lodge. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 pm until 8 pm and Monday from 5 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.
