Wallace Earl Cook

Wallace Earl Cook, 86, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. He was born in Felton (Haralson County) Georgia on December 22, 1937 to Inez (Latham) and Flynn Cook.

Wallace was a kindhearted man that served in the Navy as a parachute rigger. He also completed a master’s degree in law at John Marshall Law School and used this education during his more than 30-year truck driving career as a Teamsters Union representative. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, taxidermy, and writing music.

Wallace is survived by his spouse, Deborah Cook; his daughters, Cindy Holmes, Stephanie Peace, Deanna Brooks, Stacey West Edmonds and Dana Williams Brue; his stepdaughters, Kimberly Yearwood and Shelly Norris; as well as his cherished grandchildren, Amanda Peace, Allison Chapman, Matt Holmes, Noah Cook, Abigail Brooks, and Belle Brooks, his seven (7) great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Robert Cook, and his sisters Shelma Chafin, and Shirley Bryant and several other family members.

A family graveside service is planned for Wednesday, January 10 at 2p at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.
