Virginia R. Southern 88, of Hiram died Monday, July 8 in her home. She was preceded in death by her Husband, James Southern.She is survived by her Daughters, Mildred Porter of Canton and Margaret Crenshaw of Hiram; Son-in-Law, Thomas Crenshaw; 5 Grandchildren; 10 Great Grandchildren and 6 Nieces. Mrs. Southern sold Avon for years and was a country girl at heart. She enjoyed playing the piano and organ and most of all she enjoyed taking care of her family. The family will receive friends at Roy Davis Funeral Home Wednesday, July 10 from 4pm to 8pm. Funeral services will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday at 11am. Interment will follow at Carmel Baptist Church in Woodstock.
