Victor Gene Whitfield

Victor "Vic" Gene Whitfield age 64, of Austell died Tuesday, July 29 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Lynn Whitfield; mother, Carolyn Jean Whitfield, children, Amanda Jean Whitfield, Melissa Jane Whitfield, Brett Tyler and Randa Whitfield, Gregg Allen Reid and Ricky Paul Reid; sisters, Trudy Maxwell and Jane Morgan; grandchildren, Dylan Edward Powell, age 12, Hailey Nicole Simpson, age 10, Destiny Tyler Whitfield, age 9 and Tristin Sky Whitfield, age 6. Mr. Whitfield enjoyed NASCAR, Loved cooking, Turner Classic Movies and working but most of all, he loved being with his grandkids. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 2nd from 11am to 1pm at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of Roy Davis Funeral Home Saturday at 1pm. Gentlemen serving as pall bearers include Brett Whitfield, Dylan Powell, Anthony Powell, Dave Maxwell, Gregg Reid and Ricky Reid. Honorary pall bearers include Bill Mahaffey and Sidney Shaw.
