Troy Scott Gilbert

Troy Scott Gilbert, 49 of Smyrna, passed away July 18, 2020. He is survived by his husband Joseph Jackson, sister Trudy Darnell, nephews Matt Darnel, JD Darnel and great niece KK Darnell, also Aunt Sue, and cousins Carla Parton, Darla Parton, and Diane Parton. And a host of other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; Charles Gilbert and Toni Gilbert. Troy was a hairdresser for 26 years and a master stylist at The Knotty Salon in Roswell. He enjoyed painting and making jewelry. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. A service to celebrate his life will be held at 2 pm Sunday, August 9, 2020, at Roy Davis Funeral Home.
