Tommy Green, 71 of Douglasville, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022. He is survived by his wife, Janet Green; daughter, Jennifer Green and son Dr. Bryan Green, all of Douglasville; mother, Freddie Green of Mableton; brothers, Perry (Patsy) Green of Douglasville and Rick (Kathy) Green of Lowell; grandchildren, Eli Green Ellis and Elliana Green of Douglasville, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, J.T. Green of Mableton. Mr. Green was a wonderful husband and provider for 49 years; the best daddy anyone could wish for and a proud and loving pop-pop. He was selfless and always there, no matter what. He loved Jesus, his wife and kids, and especially his grandkids. He enjoyed Coca-Cola, rock-n-roll music, cars, and the Georgia Bulldogs. A member of Zion View Baptist Church, Mr. Green was saved many years ago. He never met a stranger and could talk to anyone. He loved working with his dad and brother as a builder and later became the best pharmacy delivery driver ever. Tommy will be dearly missed but never, ever forgotten. He was a blessing to his family and their love for him cannot be measured because it is infinite. Funeral services for Tommy Green will be 2:00 pm Sunday, January 9, at Roy Davis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Sunday from 11 am until service time. Burial will follow at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens.
