Toby Edward Morrison

Toby Edward Morrison 90 passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021. He was born in Lyerly, Georgia to the late Layton and Willie Belle Morrison. Toby is survived by his children Elaine Morrison, Marty (Debbie) Morrison, Sherri (Gary) Marshall, sister Maxine Morrison and brother Jerry Morrison. He has six grandchildren Angela Bartlett, Glenda Faircloth, Christie Harp, Stephanie Mauldin, Roxanne Smith and Tiffany Harp and he has thirteen great grandchildren. He also has several nieces, nephews, and other family members. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Martha Morrison and his sister Margaret Brown. Toby loved his family and he loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed raising his grandchildren. He was an avid gardener. He loved being outside which included fishing, camping and gardening. He was a Christian and he loved the Lord. He was drafted into the Army and he was stationed overseas. As a result of that service, he had the opportunity to see different parts of Europe that normally he would not have been able to see. After he got out of the Army, he went to work for Lockheed Martin in Marietta, Georgia. While working at Lockheed Martin, he led and assisted groups of hourly employees. He retired after 38 years with Lockheed Martin and he received many accommodations in those 38 years.
