Thomas "Tommy" Austin Brown

Mr. Thomas “Tommy” Brown, Jr., age 77, passed away on January 22, 2017.Tommy was an Atlanta native, an outdoor enthusiast, a life-long animal lover and a Civil War relic hunter.He proudly served in the United States Army as an expert marksman and an MP.He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Bea Rivers Brown and his grandmother, Gardie B. Rivers.He leaves to cherish his loving memory a host of family, relatives and friends.A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 1:00pm at the DeFoor Avenue Baptist Church in Atlanta.Burial with Military Honors will follow at the Crest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Atlanta.In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that you consider a donation to the Atlanta Humane Society in Tommy’s name.
