Thomas "Scott" Blackmon

Thomas Scott Blackmon passed away Friday morning with his family by his side on July 8, 2022 after a fourteen month battle with cancer.

Scott was born in Cartersville, Georgia to Hubert and Margie Blackmon in May of 1965.

He is survived by his spouse Elizabeth Blackmon, children; Micheal (Savanna) Blackmon, Joshua (Jessica) Parks, Bobby (Caitlyn) Blackmon. His mother Margie Blackmon, and his siblings; Glenda (Richard) Bruns, Tony (Denise) Blackmon, Benny (Debbie) McCleary, Becky Blackmon. As well as 5 grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

Scott is preceded in death by his father Hubert Blackmon.

Scott worked for Caraustar for 35 years, loved to travel, and the water. He was a loving father and husband that will be loved and missed beyond measure.
