Thelma Lee Ellison

Thelma Lee Ellison, age 83 of Mableton, died Sunday, November 25, 2012 at Haralson Nursing and Rehab Center after an extended illness. An Atlanta native, she was born on March 17, 1929 to the late Harry and Lucy Tanner. She is survived by her nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews and their families. She celebrated life and enjoyed gardening, sewing and playing bingo. She was a seamstress and later in life she worked for Mableton Flower and Gift where she created many new friendships as she delivered floral arrangements to the surrounding areas. Funeral service will be held 2 pm Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Roy Davis Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery in Austell following her funeral service Thursday. < center >
