Syble I. Helms

Syble “MEMAW” Helms, 93, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023. She was born in Carrollton, Georgia, on September 14, 1929, to the late Jesse and Roberta Sticher.

Syble enjoyed gardening and often spoke of her blueberry bushes. She enjoyed the mountains and watching the autumn leaves change their colors. She was a social butterfly and talked to everyone, including herself, often. Syble loved being with her family and going to her church, but most of all, she loved her Jesus. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

Syble is survived by 2 children, Ricky Helms and Pamela Reynolds, six grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and her brother, Wendell Sticher.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John William Helms, two sons, Randy Helms and Michael Helms, and three grandchildren.
