It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stanley Phillip Agan, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Stanley passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 23rd, 2024, at the age of 69. He was a resident of Douglasville, GA, and was born on Thursday, January 13th, 1955, in Austell, GA.
Stanley is survived by his devoted wife of 36 years, Karen Agan, who stood by his side through life's many adventures. He was a proud and loving father to his children: Stanley Phillip Agan Jr., Michael James Agan, Kevin White, and Laurie Stevens. His legacy continues through his two cherished sons, who brought immense joy to his life, and his five grandchildren.
Stanley is also survived by his siblings, Gayle Agan, David Agan, and Donna Agan Lee, who shared in the joys and challenges of life with him. He was preceded in death by his father, Max Norman Agan, his sister, Pam Agan Humphries, and one granddaughter.
For many years, Stanley dedicated his professional life to Holox Welding Supplies, where he worked in sales. His colleagues remember him as a dedicated and hardworking individual who always had a smile and a kind word for everyone.
Outside of work, Stanley was a man of many passions. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, and friend, always putting his family first. He found joy in watching his sons participate in motocross, a sport that brought the family together in excitement and camaraderie. Stanley also loved walking his faithful dog, Charlie, who was his constant companion. He loved going on family trips to Florida and watching his boys play sports. He loved working out at the gym.
Stanley's warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for his family and friends will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched throughout his life.
Arrangements for Stanley Phillip Agan have been entrusted to Roy Davis Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of Stanley's life, honoring the remarkable man he was and the legacy he leaves behind.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 2pm in Roy Davis Funeral Home. The visitation will be held from 12noon to2pm.
