Shirley Smith

Shirley Smith age 71, of Dallas, passed away November 5. She is survived by her daughter, Debra (Marlin) Overholser; mother, Betty Anderson; grandchildren, Christy Smith, Kenneth Smith, Tina Smith and Amanda Archer and 16 great grandchildren with another on the way. She is preceded in death by her father, Claude Anderson Sr. and brother, Claude Anderson Jr. In her younger days she was known as a social butterfly and always being out and about at local spots. She would take her daughter to Sun Valley and live wrestling events and continued watching wrestling on tv into her later years. Ms. Smith loved her family and to surround herself, home and yard with vibrant colors with green being her favorite. Hummingbirds were also a favorite of hers and are know to be symbols for joy and beauty.

A memorial service will be held in Roy Davis Funeral Chapel on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 3pm with the family receiving friends prior from 12 to 3pm.
