Shirley Richardson Griffin Rhodes

Shirley Richardson Griffin Rhodes 70 passed away Monday, August 5th, 2024. She was born in Atlanta, but grew up in Forest Park, Georgia; to the late Flossie Olene Winfrey and Robert Richardson

Shirley enjoyed dancing and a good party, and even sang karaoke. She was "May May" to her grandchildren and loved to play board games with them, especially Farkle, Mexican Train and Uno. She always took the time to attend their games, dances etc....  Shirley was a kind, generous woman who believed in God. She was deeply loved and will be missed beyond measure.

Shirley is survived by her daughters; Robin (Peter) Hageman (Sebastian)(Gideon), Julie Griffin (Savannah)(Adalae)(Brig), Amber(Daniel) Morgan (Aiden)(Baby to come), Her Husband Steve Rhodes; her siblings: Gloria (Ed) Carter, Bob (Crystal) Fulcher, Jerry (Tara) Fulcher and Randy (Tammy) Richardson. She is also survived by, her uncle Clarence "Gene" Richardson, and her step-daughters: Jennifer Rhodes (Jagger), Lindsey(David) Puett (Jaslyn)(Journey)(Jakota), Deidre (James) Luedecke (Hayley)(Andrew).

Along with many favorite nieces and nephews, and truly faithful life long friends. Including her best friend since 6 months old Rita (Mike) Sigers.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents and brother Wayne Richardson. Her brother-in-law Ed Carter and sister-in-law Tara Fulcher
