Sheila Allen

Sheila Allen, 66 of Powder Springs, passed away August 19, 2021. She is survived by her husband, Bill Allen; son, Mason Allen; daughter, Mandy Allen; grandsons and granddaughters, Jonas Allen, Heaven Willoughby, Jadon Hensley, Dakota Allen, Kelsey Roberts, Makayla Cowart, Gage Allen, Lance Allen, Lex Roberts and Keeton Hensley; six great grandchildren; five sisters and brothers, and a number of nieces and nephews. A loving mother and grandmother, Sheila always put her family before herself. Being with them was a great joy to her and she loved holidays together, especially Christmas. She loved spending time in the mountains and vacations in Pigeon Forge. She enjoyed bowling and was in two leagues. She was a Braves fan, loved reading, and watching the Hallmark Channel. Every year she looked forward to their “Christmas in July” movies. Sheila was a Christian and of the Baptist Faith. She loved reading the Bible during her quiet time. The Allen family will receive friends from 4 to 8 pm on Tuesday, August 24 at Roy Davis Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, August 25, at the funeral home, followed by burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in College Park.
