Scott S. Thomas

Scott S. Thomas passed away Sunday, January 22, 2023. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Joseph and Louise Thomas on April 7, 1937. Scott served in the US Navy from 1956-1962, then he was an engineer for Southern Railways. He became an Austell Police Officer in 1973, he then went on to work for the Georgia State Patrol where he retired Mr. Thomas served 20 years as City Counselman for the city of Austell. Scott is survived by his children, Scotty Thomas, Sherry Thomas, Beverly Lunn, and TJ & (wife) Jennifer Thomas, he has 11 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, and 5 siblings.
