Salena Gail Schaus

Salena Gail Schaus passed away Saturday, May 18, 2019. She was born in Mableton Georgia on June 16, 1938 to William Eddie and Edith Idela Dodd. Salena was a pianist/organist at New Life Baptist Church and she also played at the WellStar Paulding Nursing Center. She is survived by her sons; Steve “Huggy Bear” Schaus and wife Michell of Dallas, Ted Schaus and wife Nancy of Lilburn. Her daughter Bonnie Carlisle and husband Tim of Whitesburg. Brother; Billy Dodd and wife Andrea of McDonough. She has ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. Salena is preceded in death by her parents; William and Edith Dodd. Her husband of 46 years Charles Schaus. A son, Keith Schaus, and granddaughter Esther Callahan. A Visitation will be held at Roy Davis Funeral Home in Austell, Georgia on Tuesday, May 21, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral Service is Wednesday, May 22, at 2:00 pm internment to immediately follow at Riverview Memorial 5411 S. Cobb Dr SE, Smyrna, Georgia.
