Ruth Bidez

Ruth Roland Melinda Reynolds Bidez, 96 of Palmetto, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021. She was born April 20, 1925 to Rufus T. and Vivian L. Reynolds in Pelham, Georgia. She had one brother, Orin V. Reynolds, who died in 1942. Ruth Reynolds married Royal Victor Bidez on February 24, 1951. They were together for 36 years, until his death in 1987. Mrs. Bidez graduated from Blakely High School in Blakely, GA. She attended Georgia State Womans College, now Valdosta State University. She worked 20 years for USS Agri Chemicals as an accounting clerk. Before moving to Palmetto she lived in Lithia Springs and was a member of First Baptist Church Lithia Springs. Mrs. Bidez is survived by her sons, Gary Bidez of Lithia Springs and Rene' (Linda) Bidez of Fayetteville; grandsons, Reynolds Bidez and Reuben Bidez, and granddaughter, Heather Bidez. A private family service is planned.
