Russell Jackson Phillips

Russell Jackson "Jack" Phillips Jr.,76, of Douglasville, succumbed to liver cancer on June 26th, 2014. He was born on October, 20th 1937 in Camphill, Alabama to Francis and Russell Phillips. Jack was an Environmental Health and Safety Manager at AT&T/Lucent Technologies for over 35 years. He was a pilot and a flight instructor for over 20 years. He umpired baseball, basketball, and softball in the Douglas, Paulding, and West Cobb area for many years after retirement. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Judy. He has one son, Russell Jackson III, four daughters, Angela Troy Phillips, Jacque Phillips, Claudia Phillips Cochran and her husband Greg Cochran, Carley Phillips Connally and her husband, John Connally along with several Grandchildren and great grandchildren. A memorial service will be heldat 1pm, Saturday, July 12th, 2014 at Roy Davis Funeral Home in Austell. In lieu of flowers please donate to Noah's Ark Animal sanctuary . < center >
