Ruby Pauline Miller

Ruby Pauline Sudduth Miller, 73 of Douglasville,died Wednesday, February 10, 2010. She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Jeff & Dang Miller of Ozark, AL and Thomas "Bo" Miller of Leesburg, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Elaine & Denny Storey of Acworth, Lisa& Ricky Lawson of Douglasville, Kimberly & Scott Lawson of Douglasville; sister, Ruth Huff of Kennesaw; grandchildren, Danielle, Erin, Candice, Windy, Brittany, A.J., Jarrad, Chelsea; 6 great grandchildren and several great and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther J. Miller; daughter, Denise McDowell; parents, Charlie A. and Laura O. Sudduth and brothers, Paul, Clarence, Jack, Roy and Ray Sudduth. Mrs. Miller lived in Mableton for many years and was a retired bus driver monitor with the Cobb County School System. She was a member of Austell First United Methodist Church and was a 15 year breast cancer survivor. She lived at Douglasville Nursing & Rehab for six years, where she enjoyed bingo and visiting with the other residents. She was known for sending cards to cheer up people and always had a smile on her face. She loved chihuahuas, red birds, rabbits, white doves and especially Elvis Presley. The funeral service will be 2:00 pm Friday at Roy Davis Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Wood and Rev. Brett DeHart officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home throughout the day until funeral time.
