Robert Duell Samples, 87, of Mableton, died July 14, 2013.He is survived by his daughter Sue Samples, of Mableton, sons, Stephen (Marcia) Samples, of Hampton, Johnny R. Samples of Mableton, brothers Walter Samples of College Park, Charles Samples of Mableton and Hoyt Samples of Austell.He is preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Lois Saxton Samples, Mary Crouse, Jerry Samples, Pat Samples, Denise Scott.Robert was a WWII veteran with the 42nd Rainbow Division.Family will be receiving friends Monday & Tuesday from 4 to 8.Funeral will be 2pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.Burial at Mt.
