Ricky Rollins

Ricky Rollins, born on August 30th, 1962, left this world on January 13, 2024. He passed away surrounded by the love of his family, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and cherished memories.

Ricky is survived by his three beloved sons: Austin of Temple, GA; Dylan of Hiram, GA; and Zach of Atlanta, GA. His love for his sons was a guiding light in their lives. Ricky's legacy lives on through the strength and unity of the family he so dearly cherished.

He is also survived by his loving sister, Judy Nash of Dallas, GA, whose bond with Ricky was a testament to the enduring strength of family ties. Together, they shared a lifetime of memories, laughter, and an unbreakable sibling bond. As well as his sister in Law (Rex Rollins) Sandra Rollins of Dallas,Ga who spent countless hours helping take care of Ricky the last few years of his wonderful life.

Ricky was a proud grandfather to his granddaughter, Madilyn Rollins, and grandsons, Forrest Rollins and Lachlan Rollins. The joy and love he found in being a grandfather added a special chapter to Ricky's life, and his legacy extends to the generations that followed.

He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Mary Guise, whose gentle spirit and nurturing presence enriched Ricky's life. Ricky also joins his brother, Rex Rollins, in eternal rest. The loss is felt deeply by his family, but they find solace in the knowledge that Ricky is now reunited with those he held dear.

In addition, Ricky mourns the loss of his nephew, Brian Lingerfelt, whose memory will forever be held close to the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

In the tapestry of life, a thread has gently frayed, A soul departed, in memories arrayed. Through laughter and tears, in moments we find, A legacy enduring, in hearts intertwined.

Ricky's journey may have reached its earthly end, Yet the love he gave continues, an eternal friend. In the quiet moments, in the echoes of his name, His spirit lives on, a perpetual flame.

Let us remember the joy he brought our way, The love that lingers, in our hearts to stay. As we say our goodbyes, in sorrow and grace, May Ricky find peace in the eternal embrace.

The family invites friends and loved ones to join them in a celebration of Ricky's life at Bethany Christian Church, Dallas, Ga At 3:00 Pm on Sunday, January 21, 2024 with Pastor Wayne Strickland officiating.
