Rick Griffith

Rick Griffith, 73 of Dallas, passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021. He was born in Charlotte, NC on October 9, 1947, the son of Charles and Margaret Griffith. He is survived by his daughters, Toni-Marie Grimes of Canton and Tamara (Joey) Ent of Temple; son, Paul (Carla) Griffith of McDonough; brothers and sister, Charles (Pat) Griffith, Kenneth Griffith and Margaret Hieb, all of North Carolina; grandchildren, Brittany (Tim) Abad of Dallas, Devin (Hannah) Griffith of Dallas, and Brooke (Tyler Hitt) Hale of Villa Rica, and great grandchildren, Troy Abad, Trinity Abad and Ryker Hitt. A loving father, grandfather and great grandfather, family was very important to Rick. He loved nature, being outdoors, and sitting outside when he could see the stars in the night sky. He served in the Air Force and was a Viet Nam Veteran. Rick enjoyed driving and his job gave him the chance to spend much of his time on the road in his 18 wheeler. According to his wishes, he will be cremated. His family will have a private service to celebrate his life.
