Reggie Lewis Puckett

Reggie L. Puckett, Jr., 43, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Ross Barnett Reservoir. The Puckett family will receive friends Tuesday, June 11 from 6pm to 8pm at Roy Davis Funeral Home Reggie has lived in Florence, Mississippi for 6 years, coming from Georgia. He was a Spirit Rider and supported community through Spirit Riders Benefit Rides. He was a recipient of the 2009 and 2011 Hoyt Dashboard Award. He was a member of National Archery in Schools Program and in 2007 won the Regional Championship. In 2005 he won the NASP National Championship and in 2002 won 3rd place in ASA Classic (National Level). Reggie is preceded in death by his brother, Kim Wolfe of Woodland, AL. He is survived by his wife, Connie J. Puckett of Florence; his father, Reginald (Kathy) Lewis Puckett, Sr. of Douglasville, GA; his mother, Eva (Joe) DeLoach of Carrollton, GA; brother, Terry Puckett of Woodland, AL; sisters, Penny Johnston of Villa Rica, GA and Kathy Earwood of Hiram, GA; and a host of friends. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6pm to 8pm Tuesday. A celebration of his life will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at 4:00 pm, Roy Davis Funeral Home with Pastor Glen Pittman officiating. The family will also receive friends two hours prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital in Jackson, MS
