Randy Hugh Nicholson

Randy Hugh Nicholson, age 66, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 24, 2023.

Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at 3:00 PM at the East Hiram Baptist Church in Hiram, Ga. with Rev. Rick Bice officiating. The family will be receiving friends and family on Sunday, December 10, 2023 from 2PM until the hour of the service at 3PM at the East Hiram Baptist Church.

Randy was born on June 13, 1957 in Gadsden, Alabama. to the late Mr. Gary Nicholson and Mrs. Dean Sexton Nicholson. Randy was a faithful member of the East Hiram Baptist Church and enjoyed attending church with his family. He was a long haul truck driver for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Randy loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ above all, his second love was his wife of many years Mrs. Wanda Thurmond Nicholson, his family and he had great pride and love for the U.S.A. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, shooting, camping and simply being outdoors. He always enjoyed his classic rock and country music. He was a very good cook, especially grilling or smoking anything. He also enjoyed hotrods and motorcycles. Randy was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew him.

In addition to his father, Randy was preceded in death by his sister and her husband, Jackie & Wendall Atcheson and his grandsons Tyler Nicholson and Brannon Nicholson. He is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Joy Nicholson, children, Matthew Nicholson (Toni), Joseph Nicholson (Kristie), Luke Nicholson (Leslie) and Heather Key (Jeremy Wood), mother, Dean Nicholson, 13 grandchildren, siblings, Dennis Nicholson (Priscilla) and Edward Nicholson (Debbie). Many nieces, nephews and other family members also survive.
