Peggy Marie Fulghum Bearden Ayers, 86 of White, Georgia, passed away Friday, November 27, 2020. She was born on March 20, 1934, in Cullman, Alabama, the daughter of Frank Freeman and Susie Harold Fulghum. She is survived by her children, Phillip Bearden, Don & Gayla Bearden, Jane Southerland, Sue & John Appel, Wanda & Harold Gillespie, Cindy & Junior Chambers, and Michelle Ayers; siblings, Charles Fulghum, Bo & Carolyn Fulghum, Wayne & Pat Fulghum, and Jake Fulghum; 21 grandkids; 39 great grandkids, and 4 great-great grandkids. She was preceded in death by her children Stanley Bearden and Mona Lisa Bearden, and siblings Maxine Harper, Byron Fulghum and Lillian Wood. Mrs. Ayers was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed many things in life, but her greatest joy and accomplishment was raising eight children. She loved her family and will be greatly missed by all that loved her. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 pm Tuesday, December 1, at Roy Davis Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at 3:30 pm at Powder Springs Christian Fellowship, 4050 Austell-Powder Springs Road. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to help with burial expenses.
