Nita Diann Lowery

Nita Diann Lowery 66, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away Friday, December 18, 2020. She was born in Jefferson, Georgia to AJ and Lizzie Adams on February 27, 1954. Nita was a Douglas County school teacher for 20 years. She was a loving, kindhearted wife, mother, and MawMaw, that loved to be with her family, cooking, sewing quilts and making crafts. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Steve Lowery, her sons, Mark (Aimee) Lowery, Ryan (Christy) Lowery, and five grandchildren. Nita is preceded in death by her daughter Stefanie Grimaldi, her parents, and a brother Jack Adams.
