Mrs. Clovis D. King, age 82, of Cedartown, GA, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024, in Rome, GA.
Mrs. King was born on September 20, 1941, in Cullman, Alabama to her parents, Mr. Fred Smith and Mrs. Velmar Brock Smith. Mrs. King loved spending time with her family, enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, watching her cooking shows and loving on her family.
Mrs. Kings will be dearly missed by her many friends and loved ones.
She is survived by her children; Daniel King and his wife Pam and Regina King, grandchildren, Joel King (Autumn), Beth King and Kayetlyn King. Six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild on the way. Siblings, Geneva Stewart, Earlene Smith, Glenda Smith, Linda Smith and Earl Smith. Many nieces, nephews, other friends, and relatives also survive.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Johnny Franklin King, her son, James King and several brothers and sisters.
In keeping with her wishes Mrs. King has been cremated and her a graveside service will be held on Saturday April 13, 2024, at 9:00 AM at the Yorkville Cemetery.
The family will be going to her grandson Joel Kings home after the service for a time of reflection and to visit with family and friends.
