Mike Allen Dowda

Mike Allen Dowda age 59, of Austell died Tuesday, September 22, 2015. He is survived by his 3 children, Forrest Dowda, Melanie Bevil and Matt Higgins; mother, Patricia “Big Momma”; brother, Larry Dowda; sisters, Patricia Dowda and Dianne Wagoner; grandchildren, Kimberly Savatgy and Preston Higgins. He was preceded in death by his father, Allen Dowda. Mike enjoyed fishing, football, hunting, playing poker and NASCAR. He raced in dirt-track and was known as a workaholic at Dowda House Movers. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Roy Davis Funeral Home on Saturday, September 26 at 11am. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
