Michael Wayne Taylor

Michael Wayne Taylor 68, of Centre, Alabama passed away Friday, June 16, 2023.

He was born in Albertville, Alabama to the late Kenneth and Ruby Taylor on February 3, 1955.

Michael was a graduate of South Cobb High School class of 1973. He was captain of the high school football team, and he lettered 3 years in baseball as well as football. He married his high school sweetheart and joined the Air Force, and they had two beautiful girls. He later remarried and had a son. He served as a Tactical Aircraft Maintenance Specialist and is now a Veteran of U.S., Air Force. He was a loving brother, father and grandfather. Michael never knew a stranger and was kindhearted man that would give you the shirt off his back. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. He was very artistic; he could draw and paint. He won several awards in high school for his work. He is survived by his three children: Erin Brady, Heather (Brian) Patton, and Kenny Taylor. He has 6 grandchildren: Nola Brady, Chloe Brady, Elijah Patton, Caleb Patton, Ronix Taylor and Byerly Taylor. He is also survived by his siblings, (sister)Phylica Wilkerson, and (brother)Marcus Taylor.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents.
