Mellissa Labelle Childs

Mellissa Labelle Childs passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2019. She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on December 13, 1974 to Malachi White and Yvonne Childs Washington. She is survived by her daughter Zoey Alyssa Childs, her mother Yvonne Washington and siblings; Twin sister Camiel Childs, Tracey Childs, Ronnie, Mala, Karen, Jerry and Kristopher Johnson. She has five nieces Caitlin, Shamiah, Shavon, Madison, and Ashley. Nephews Shanar and Brandon Jr. She is preceded in death by her father Malachi White. Mellissa was an energetic carefree spirit with a love for life and adventure, a social butterfly. She was an extraordinary mother, brave and faithful. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
