Melinda Darlene Emmett

Melinda Darlene Emmett, 57 of Austell, passed away surrounded by her family at WellStar Cobb Hospital on August 30, 2019. She was born in Atlanta on October 2, 1961, the daughter of Gordon Edwards and Lula Mae Agan Edwards. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, David Emmett of Austell; children, Tabitha Beal of Austell, Samantha Emmett of Villa Rica, Bryce Alexander of Austell and Feirraihsha' Beal of Austell; grandchildren, Haven Emmett, Harmoni Emmett and Harpyr Roberts, all of Villa Rica; brother, Gerry Edwards of Austell and nephew Wink Edwards of Douglasville. No services are planned at this time. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
