Meldoy Frazer Ayers

Our Beloved, Melody Jane Marie Ayers, also known as Janie Frazer, was lifted into the Arms of the Angels in the early hours of Friday, November 9, 2018. Janie had a true Generosity of Spirit and was always there for someone in need, be it relative, friend or stranger. Janie brought so much joy into the lives of those who knew her - she was constantly into something and kept us entertained and laughing throughout her life. She adored Marilyn Monroe and at points in her life resembled her with platinum hair, red lips and nails.Like Marilyn she she acted silly but fought her own demons. She too, was much like a Candle in the Wind and will forever be missed and remembered. She was preceded in death by her Father Arthur William Jeff Frazer, Mother Minerva Lorrine Hanvy, Sister Betty Ann Jones, whom she loved like a mother,and a Brother Larry Paul Frazer. She is survived by a Father-in-Law (who raised her) Kenneth R Jones, brothers Buddy and Rodney Frazer, sisters Beverly P Harris, Sheree Schafer and Belinda Vega, nieces Lucretia "BooBoo" Jones and Savannah Schafer, and friend George Young. Janie graduated from Banks High School in Birmingham, Al.
