Maudie Lee Mcmichen

Maudie Lee McMichen, 81 of Mableton, died Friday, October 10, 2008 in Fayetteville, Georgia. She was born December 27, 1926 in Powder Springs, the daughter of Emmett Henry Austin and Lena Mae Croker Austin. Mrs. McMichen was a member of Powder Springs Primitive Baptist Church. She was prededed in death by her husband, John Grady McMichen. She is survived by her sons, Gerald Grady McMichen of Dallas, Ronnie Eugene McMichen of Powder Springs, Rodney Aaron McMichen of Rayburn, Alabama; daughters, Glenda Parks of Powder Springs, Brenda Lee Thomas of Hiram and Pat Gallimore of Fayetteville; brothers, Marion Austin of Powder Springs, James Austin of Powder Springs, Alen Austin of Mableton, J.B. "Tinker" Austin of Hiram and Doug Austin of Douglasville; sister, Bernice Austin of Hiram; 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
