Mary Robinson, 88 of Powder Springs, passed away at her home on September 1, 2020. She was born in Anniston, Alabama on December 25, 1931, the daughter of William and Emma Parker. She is survived by her children, Linda Hunter of Florida, James and Shannon Robinson of Marietta, Carolyn and Larry Rosenberger of Canton and Mary Lynn and Patrick Houchin of Powder Springs, daughter-in-law, Audrey Robinson of Dallas; 21 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Robinson in 2001, and her son, Robert Robinson, in 2019. Mrs. Robinson was a spunky, outgoing spitfire who was all about family. Her husband of 53 years was the love of her life and her children were her life. She had a servant’s heart, enjoyed taking care of people and will be greatly missed by everyone blessed to know her. She was a prayer warrior who loved the Lord. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 pm Thursday, September 3, and Friday, September 4, at Roy Davis Funeral Home in Austell. Funeral services will be 11:30 am, Saturday, September 5, at the funeral home, followed by interment at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery in Marietta.
