Mary Marvine Rackley

Mary Marvine Rackley, a beloved member of the Dallas, Georgia community, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at the age of 83. Born on May 18, 1941, in Dallas, Georgia, Mary spent her life dedicated to her family, faith, and community.

Mary was a devoted member of Northside Baptist Church, where her commitment to the Lord was evident in her kind spirit and generous heart. Her passion for life extended beyond her faith to her involvement at the local senior center, where she found joy in socializing and sharing her love for walks and puzzle books.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Johnny and Marvine Andrews; her husband, John Rackley; and her daughter-in-law, Juanita Lee Robinson. Mary's strength and resilience were a source of inspiration to her family, who cherished her unwavering love and support.

Mary is survived by her son Thomas Alan Robinson, six grandchildren Laneicha (Joshua) Swofford, Christopher (Erica) Robinson, Robert (Amber) Gossett, Halee Gossett, Brittany (Jefferey) Sweet and Brandy Robinson who were the light of her life, along with several great-grandchildren, who will continue to carry on her legacy of love and kindness. Her presence will be dearly missed, but her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Funeral arrangements are being provided by Roy Davis Funeral Home. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Friday, December 27, at 11:00 AM, followed by a chapel service at 1:00 PM, where we will celebrate and honor Mary's well-lived life.

Mary's warmth, faith, and gentle nature will be remembered fondly by all who knew her. Her love and devotion to her family and community are a testament to the beautiful life she led.
