Mary Grace Lecroy

Mary Grace Baker LeCroy, age 89 of Carrollton, Georgia went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, November 30, 2016. Mary was born in Marietta Georgia on April 23, 1927, the youngest of ten children, to the Late Reese E. Baker and Arzie Mae Sorrells Baker. Mary was retired from public work.She was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Whitesburg, Georgia. Survivors include her children: Mike Brown, Marshall and Laura Brown, and Melanie and Barry Wheeler all of Carrollton, Georgia.Grandchildren: Lisa Brown, Chris Brown, Brandy Brown, Kim and Johnny Hayes, Edward and Rainy Brown, Clint and Ashley Brown, Megan Brown, Morgan and Ryan Hulsey, Erin Wheeler, Emily Wheeler, and Evan Wheeler.13 great-grandchildren.Sister: Annie Ruth Miller, 2 sisters-in-law and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, William Edward Brown and her second husband, Robert Glenn LeCroy; son, Melvyn Edward Brown, sisters Nora Strickland, Cora Strickland, Lola Flowers, Lillie Mae McEver, Willie Fincher; brothers Joe Baker, Carl Baker, R.E. Baker. Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Grace Baptist Church, Whitesburg, Georgia from 5:00pm - 8:00pm. A private family graveside service will be held at a future date at Glenn Memorial Gardens in Villa Rica, Georgia with Dr. Jimmy Lester officiating. In accordance with her wishes her body will be cremated.
