Mary Moreland Helms

Mary Moreland Helms 97 passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023. She was born in Lawrenceville, Georgia on January 14, 1926, to the late Ira and Myrtie Moreland.

Ms. Mary was preceded in death by her husband James L. Helms Jr., her daughter Vicki Helms Leger, her brothers Felton and Winfred Moreland, and a sister Freddie Lou Howard.

She is survived by her sons Russell Helms (Elisha), John Helms (Diane), Marvin Helms, her daughter Diane Rountree (Vince), she has five grandchildren, and four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews..

She was long time member of Austell First Baptist Church, and devoted to her family, her life revolved around them.
