Martha Callahan Sweat

Mrs. Martha Callahan Sweat, age 67, of Atlanta, Georgia passed away on December 19, 2016.Mrs. Sweat was born in Atlanta to Albert & Hannah Callahan.Mrs. Sweat will be remembered fondly as a devoted wife, a loving mother and a doting grandmother.No one will soon forget her potato salad recipe. She leaves to cherish her loving memory, husband, Douglas M. Sweat; son, Charles (Carol) Sweat; daughters, Penny Funderbuck and Tina (Roy) Bramlett; grandchildren, Jesse Funderbuck, Raven Funderbuck, Shawn Sweat, Harley Sweat, Casey Sweat; great-grandchild, Noah White; brothers, Grady Callahan and Leon Callahan; sisters, Linda Findley, Joyce Jordan, Iris Stoner and Penny Smart; and a host of family and friends.She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Ruby Bennett and a granddaughter, Tatiana Bramlett. The Family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm and again on Friday, December 23, 2016 from 12:00pm – 8:00pm at the Roy Davis Funeral Home, Austell, Georgia.A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 26, 2016 at 11:00am at the Riverside Church of God, Powder Springs, Georgia.Burial will follow at 2:00pm at Crestlawn Cemetery, Atlanta, Georgia.
