Martha G. Morrison

Martha G. Morrison of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away at home on November 8, 2016 at the age of 76.The oldest of nine children, Mrs. Morrison was born in Paulding County, Georgia in 1940 to Roscoe & Effie Johnson.Some of her favorite pastimes included spending time with her family, doting on the babies in the family and sewing in front of the television.She was devout in her Christian faith.She is preceded in death by her parents.Mrs. Morrison leaves to cherish her loving memory, her husband, Toby Morrison; three children, Elaine (Charles) Harp, Marty E. (Debbie) Morrison, and Sherri (Gary) Marshall; seven grandchildren: Angela Harp, Christie Bryant, Tiffany Harp, Miss Bailey, Glenda Faircloth, Stephanie Mauldin, and Roxanne Smith; nine great-grandchildren: Zander, Kinsleigh, Ireland, Cameron, Addison, Ziveah, Zane, Ashleigh, and Zachery; and a host of family and friends. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, November 10, 2016 from 12:00pm-2:00pm at the Roy Davis Funeral Home, Austell, Georgia.A funeral Service will follow at 2:00pm in the Chapel of the Roy Davis Funeral Home.Burial will be at the Sunrise Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Douglasville, Georgia.
