Marion Barker Miles

Marion Barker Miles Sr., age 83 of Smyrna died Saturday, December 9, 2017.He is survived by his son, Marion Miles Jr. and wife Jennifer; daughters, Doris Biddy and husband James, VickiePittman and husband Lamar; sister-in-law, Helen Miles of Mableton and Matilda Miles of Powder Springs; companion, Ellen Tucker; 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren.He is preceded in death by his wife, Janet Ethridge Miles. Marion Miles Sr. retired from Atlanta Water Works after 20 years service;was owner and operator of Marion Miles Auto Sales in Mableton for 21 years, was a Cobb County Bus Driver for 10 plus years where he achieved the Safe Driver Award.He enjoyed collecting clocks and toy fire trucks.
