Marie Anne Jessy Charles

Marie Anne Jessy Charles, 55, past away August 7, 2023.

Jessy, as her family calls her, was born to the late Raymond and Jeanine Guerrier on August 15, 1967 in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. She was very close with her parents and had a good upbringing. Marie Anne was blessed with three sisters, Margarette, who currently lives in France and Myrlande, and Nadege who are still living in Haiti.

In 1986, Mr. Gardy Charles went to Haiti and there he met Jessy. They loved each other so much that in 1990 they were married and have been happily married for 33 years. During their marriage, Jessy gave birth to their two sons, Kevin, now 28 and Jahrod, 21.

Jessy was a great mother. She loved to drive to get fresh air or sometimes, she would just enjoy going for a walk. She was also a great swimmer. Jessy loved to laugh and was a cheerful person. She was also very intuitive and seemed to know more about who you are than you knew about yourself. Marie Anne loved people and was a good person. She served her God faithfully and attended Atlanta West Pentecostal Church for a while.

Jessy is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Jeanine Guerrier.

She is survived by her husband, Gardy and sons, Kevin and Jahrod; Sisters, Margarette, Myrlande and Nadege; Nieces, Maeva, Maigane, and Dory Anne.

Jessy was a special person and will be missed by those who loved her.
